Searching for the Minotaur
This new and ongoing series, Searching for the Minotaur, is inspired by age old problems surfacing. Transgenic disease and xenotransplantation were once thought to be science fiction. Framed within the romantic and tragic Greek myth of the Minotaur, the animal-human hybrid reoccurs in my new paintings. A recent trip to Greece added inspiration.
